One of my favorite female artists...her voice is just so powerful. And this is my favorite song by her, followed by another! I was torn between posting this one, or the live one (which was equally fantastic). This one won out because the crowd in the live one kind of spoiled it. I don't know why she didn't play the guitar here though...hhhmm?

Yes, she does Ben. I love it when a woman (in particular) belts it out like that...gives me shivers. Believe it or not, I heard about her through Britney Spears several years ago...she'd noted her as one of her favorites and I thought I'd check her out. Glad I did.

That was terrific Deb. I hadn't heard of her before. I may have heard some of her songs maybe, but don't remember. Maybe she wasn't playing guitar because she was concentrating on recording her vocals? I dunno. Does she usually play while she sings? I would love to hear more. Thanks :)

She does has a powerful voice and you have to love a finger-snapper!
Mel...I agree - she was probably just focusing on her vocals which is why she was guitarless. I just know that when I've seen her live stuff she plays too. She does look like she'd be fun to know..I liked the little giggle at the end.
Finger snappers and hand clappers are all good by me Barb.
