NHL Bound?

My brother just called from the rink...it's "playoff" time for my nephew and Dave ("Dad") gave me the game rundown...Brandon's team was losing 3-0. Then Brandon did his thing (I'll explain later) and scored a hat trick to tie things up. Goals were interchanged back and forth (3 more for Brandon) and the game was tied at 6-6 with a couple of minutes to go. That's when Brandon sealed the deal for the win. Seven goals scored for his team...every one of them by Brandon (it's not the first time).

Now, this is starting to become a bit of a story here...this is the "norm" in this division. Brandon scores a whole whack of goals and there's noone they can put on him to stop him. So, they moved him up a division, to see what would happen. More of the same...he scored the OT game winner to prove his case.

I'm more than proud of my nephew...he's battled adversity in life and is a superstar in all aspects. He adores Lindsay and they are tight. We're going to his next game...3:45 today. And I expect we'll be doing a lot of cheering (a warm up for the Canucks game?).
