A Picture Says A Thousand Words

(This picture is from the BBC) I don't say too much about the crisis in Lebanon because, quite frankly, I'm not well enough informed. I'm reading and listening and trying to learn, but I still feel I'm not equipped to comment.

I did, however, come across this picture that tore up my heart. It's two boys who are watching as their mother is taken by boat to an evacuation ship. They apparently missed the boat.

This just kills me.

Wow, that picture gets to the heart. I'm trying to read and listen as much as I can too, but still I feel to uninformed...

I know. I'm the type that wants to hear both sides, every detail, before I make up my mind ('cause usually I think I've got things figured out and am totally decided, then some new info. has me revisit and re-evaluate how I feel about things. It's such a messed up situation - the only thing I know is that when I see kids being carried off in bloodied clothes, something's wrong - I don't necessarily care WHO's wrong, just that SOMETHING'S seriously wrong).
