Guess Which One, Win A Prize (NOT)
How do you think I threw my back out today? Was I:
A) Carrying sick orphans from Africa back to Canada (by foot)
B) Hand plowing fields to help farmers in need
C) Lifting a 150 pound bull mastiff out of a well with a rope
D) Catching a suicidal crack addict as he jumped off a tall building with a load of bricks in his knapsack
E) Lifting one case of Sunny D from out of my car in to Dad's house
If you guessed E you are right and I am a feeble loser. I can barely move. If I had to run a foot race against Bob Barker right now, Bob would win, hands down. Kill me now, please.

Oh no! It's always the stupid little moves that do it, isn't it?
Rest and be better soon.
Ouch!!!! Like what Barb said..it's the little moves. I screwed up my back once when Devon was little lifting him out of the car seat. I was mortified. Hope it's better soon!
(oh and if it makes you feel better, I injured myself bowling once, how lame is that?)
It could've been worse guys. I've had it completely go out (which was worse than childbirth) - this was pretty mild compared to past incidents. But it's one of those things where I have to walk around like a little old constipated woman for awhile! And when I sit too long I get stuck in the sitting position. I haven't had a problem with my back for some time now, so I guess I'd let my guard down and, yes, it is the stupid little moves that do it.
feel better. i was going to guess A.
I wish it was Will. I'd at least feel satisfaction in knowing it was worth it.
Oh, and how rude of me....thanks! ;)
I bet if you caught a crackhead jumping off a building, it would HELP your back! You know, like how pregnant women feel better during pregnancy than any other time. Yup, that's the trick. Go catch a suicidial crackhead. Save a life, it's like free chiropractic treatment. :P
Seriously though, I hope your back's feeling better by now. Have you been able to take it easy at all this week? Hopefully you've been able to get some rest. :)
Thanks Alana...a little (a lot) late on my part.
I've rested somewhat...that's just not always an option though. I had a few scary moments where my back/spine felt like it was "buckling"...I've had it really go out once and will be forever fearful of that happening again. A pain I can't describe...worse than childbirth.
