I needed a "feel good" story today.

This one did the job......

Cool.

Blind ambition. Very cool.
I think I would just walk around in circles, listen to the history channel on TV, and play guitar.
But, this shows that you never really know what you can do until ya gotta do it.
Thanx Deb.

What a hopeful story! Losing my vision is one of my greater (irrational) fears, and it is so inspiring to learn this fellow's story, to see how he not only copes, but thrives.

Thanks Deb!

Oh man, just finished watching it. That was really something. My mother has been diagnosed with macular degeneration and is finding it harder and harder to read. She used to be an English professor so not being able to fill up her day with words is something she is finding very difficult.

hey friends....very sorry, I've been quite negligent here lately. Running around a lot plus. Getting ready for Dad's big surgery (Wed), so we're getting stuff together.

JD...hey, sounds like you'd be o.k. - the history channel & guitar sound like a pretty good game plan to me.

barb...it sure makes you think, huh? If you were to lose one - sight or hearing, which one?

w/n...it is, isn't it?

tc...darn, saw this too late. I WAS watching the game(s), but didn't get over here to comment on them. Wahoo though - 2 Canucks wins + Lions win = Deb very happy. :)

While I would hate to never hear new music again, I would find it too terrifying to be without sight.
