I'm In PJ Withdrawal
Not much to say except it's hard for me to imagine that it's already been over a year since I last saw PJ. I was just flicking through their tour pics and remembering how damned cute Eddie is. So I figured it's time he got some blogspace here...he is my idol - I don't know why I haven't already drooled over him here.I can hardly wait for the next Vancouver show because, once again, I'll be front and centre (o.k., maybe it was back)...still, I managed to score the best seat in the house. Not that I used it much.

Are they touring currently?
And you are more than entitled to indulge in musician drooling, in fact you are overdue. I drool daily over one musician or another, as you may have noticed.
They are touring and won't be done until the New Year. Unforunately they've already completed our neck of the woods and I'm sure that when they return home they'll take a much needed break.
They're so good in concert...the energy is unbelievable and the crowd interaction just gets things worked into a frenzy. I blew off a lot of steam there and had one hell of a lot of fun. The kids and I swapped stories on the way home, which was great. When the lights came booming on during "Alive", I could actually see them across the other side of GM Place, dancing in the aisles. My son had a red sweatshirt on that made him easy to spot.
I hadn't been their website in some time and today when I visited it I went through all the current pics from the tour. Looks like the rest of the world is enjoying them as much as we did!
Have you ever heard the cover of Victoria William's "Crazy Mary" they do? It was for her benefit album "Sweet Relief"

I have my dear....actually I have the Sweet Relief (tape - I'm so outdated). I LOVE IT....one of my favorites. I also have something very cool - it's a "demo" cd from right before Ten was released. It's got "Alive" and a cover of the Beatle's "I've Got A Feeling". I actually got it at a yard sale YEARS ago, when PJ was just starting to be "known". Lucky score that was!
