Grey Cup Bound
I'm not feeling very inspired these days, which explains my lack of posting. But today managed to stir up some enthusiasm in me, as Ty and I went to the Western Final game. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our "cheap" seats were some of the best in the house - right along the bottom rail. I have no voice. I helped with that victory today. Lions clobbered Saskatchewan 45-18. Here are the pictures to prove it (none of me, I make sure of that):
We had a great time and it was an extremely well behaved/respectful crowd (which is surprising, considering the amount of alcohol consumed all around us). I didn't get many "action" shots during the play...this was because I was too busy cheering and Ty said it would distract the players (?). I love Lion's games....they bring out the crazy in me.

You were there!! Wow. Great pics by the way. Of course being a die hard Roughie fan and all it was a bit of a rough ride today!
By the way, I have figured out the whole link thing and I was wondering if I might add you to my link list?
p.s. Did you really think it was necessary to use the word CLOBBERED! Just wait, next year.
Absolutely toccata...and I'll do the same. I haven't been doing much of anything lately...just not very motivated/inspired.
I was pleasantly surprised at the tailgate party/rainfest at how the two rival team's fans interacted so positively together and kept it "light" and friendly. Very encouraging!
And, sorry, I had to say clobbered. I've been taking a ribbing on the CFL forums from the Rider fans all week, who kept reminding me that they "had our number" and had beat us 3/4 times this year. So I have to work this for all it's worth now. I'll calm down in a week or so. ;)
Congratulations, although I can't say I am happy with the outcome, I can tell you that I will be supporting your cats at the Grey Cup (albeit a little half-heartedly).
Hey, welcome aboard Barbara. I know it's hard to get behind another team with any sort of enthusiasm. But over on the CFL forums a lot of Rider fans are pulling for the Lions/West in the game Sunday. Strength in numbers!! Go Lions.
The Rider fans will definitely be behind you next weekend. I think the Lions will do it.
LOL! WOOOT! I bet going to a game with you is so much fun!!! Thanks for postin the pics :)
Losing your voice for a win sounds like a fair trade to me. I'll have to try that come baseball season.
And inspiration is a tough one - just comes and it goes, doesn't it? Sometimes I have to force, but I've come to wonder whether I'm truly inspired or running on autopilot.
Mel - my attitude at the games is "live it up". I don't drink (driver), but I do get a little wild and crazy. I actually considered having a t-shirt made that read "please don't ask me to sit down/shut up - I don't get out much" on the back. Not enough time thought.
Will - autopilot is fitting. Going through the motions. Plugging along. That's how life is these days. Which is why I'm mostly visiting other's blogs and 'observing' right now. Glad you guys are here though.
(oops, that's me...forgot to sign in!)
*though (didn't put enough thought into my typing!)
