Some Days You Don't Need To Leave Home To Be Entertained

Sitting at my computer awhile ago, I noticed a car stopped out front of my place in the "No Stopping" zone and it tweaked my curiousity so I watched what played out.

And this rocket scientist was out there, obviously having car problems.....

Now, let me explain here. He stopped and got out and scratched his head for ten minutes. Walked around, took his glasses off and put them back on. I guess that's what mechanics do. He went into his car and retrieved some oil, because oil solves everything. He proceeded to put the oil in the hot engine, spilling it everywhere and I think he might've even started a small fire...he was blowing at it at one point. Smoke billowed out and he went back to the fail-safe head scratching technique. I didn't get shots of this because, quite frankly, I was too busy shaking my head going "what a moron". Then he chucked his lit smoke over by the tree because, obviously, one fire wasn't enough for him today. He then grabbed a rag from his car and wiped up the spilled oil, burning his hand in the process.

Please, if I ever get into Nascar, ensure this guy doesn't end up on my pit crew, k?

I wonder if this guy will ever find out he's featured on your blog! hahahahah!!!

WHo needs cable when you've got a living room window?

Well I started watching out of curiousity but it soon escalated to concern that he was going to catch the entire car on fire! It was amusing, to say the least.

especially funny when your getting ready to watch Talladega Nights, I am now almost certain I will see this guy giving a cameo appearance.

That's hilarious. I can't believe you snapped pictures! Too funny.

Remind me not to try and do something ridiculous in range of your camera lens! :)

I felt kind of guilty snapping pics (not). Usually I'm not so mean, it's just this guy was trying to be all cool and I just happened to have my camera right there...really I did.

I haven't seen Talladega Nights but it's on my list of "to sees". I love Will Ferrell. Yeah, and this guy could fit right in, for sure.

You know, maybe my Volvo's broken down so many times I've become cynical and expect everyone to know about cars. Even though I really don't know much, I've learned enough that when I take it in my mechanic goes "what's wrong with it Deb". Seriously.

That's so funny, and I like the pictures! But this guy could have been really dangerous! But did it work?

It must've worked evelyne. I went away shortly afterward and he was gone.
