WAHOO....MORE HOCKEY GOLD FOR CANADA!!

WE WIN!!! 4-2, in what ended up being a bit of a nailbiter. Although it looked like Canada would waltz away with this one having established a 4-0 lead, Russia battled back to make a game of it. But the better team prevailed and it was a total team effort that pulled it off.

I was very impressed by (Canuck) Luc Bourdon's play, as usual...glad he's our boy. And BC boy Carey Price, goaltender for Canada, played magnificently, earning the MVP title. He made key saves when it counted, including one on a short handed breakaway where he denied Russia a golden opportunity to really gather momentum. But Price seemed completely relaxed and confident in net. His award was a well deserved one at that. But the entire team played hard and proved why Canada is truly the best there is in hockey.

Good job boys, good job!

Man, I was so sick yesterday but I managed to watch the game. No way was I going to miss it. The crazy thing is at one point when it was 4-0 I was wondering are they allowed to run up the score? Or do they have to pull back a little? Next thing I know running up the score was the last of our worries!

This event is a family tradition around here.
