Figures. I can't get beautiful until Tuesday. My hairdresser is a friend from way back who now owns her own (extremely popular/busy) shop. Only problem...I used to go to her house and get it done very cheap, anytime I wanted. Now I have to wait just like all the other nobodies and pay a fortune....oh well, she knows how to work with this wild mane. So, for now, this is my solution......my favorite hat. It's been my lucky hat for five years now - maybe I should change it? Junky, you can have it when I die, ok? 'Cause I know how much you love jocks and you may as well show your support for them.

I'm not going far today....that medical issue I had sometime ago at work has resurfaced and probably explains a lot of the fatigue, etc. I go for some tests on the 16th and hopefully.....fingers crossed. Not even worrying, although my son is. I don't tell him much but he intercepts mail from the cancer clinic, etc. So far all good. I'm tough, remember?

Superbowl Sunday tomorrow. I don't get nearly as hyped as I used to. When I was pregnant with Ty I went to a huge party with my ex at one of his friend's places. I was one of only two females there (the halftime entertainment was "live - didn't bother me. I can slap a chick's ass just as well as the next guy). Anyhow, obviously I wasn't drinking but the guys got wasted. And my ex, as one of the soberest there, was nominated at half time for a beer run. He never returned. DWI on the way. Kind of ruined that party. Although my Giants won, I was the ONLY NY fan in attendance - I took a lot of slam talking before the game. Shut 'em up fast, I did. Took their damn $$ too.

This year I'll give you some clues as to who I'm cheering for (my son and I are on opposing sides, it could get ugly). I started following this team because they were "sweet" and I enjoyed watching the guy in shades antics who, along with his teammates, could really put a dent in the scoreboard while "single" handedly handing the opposing team's offense up on a platter. Made me wanna shuffle to the fridge to celebrate. They were big hams but Walter was one of my alltime favorites - a class act. I know their showboating got on the nerves but, hey, they were having a good time. And who can blame them for that?

Man, I am going to punch new blogger right in the face - first they make me switch over and then they don't recognize my account.

Sorry, Deb, I've been trying to post this comment for so long, I can't even remember what I was going to say in the first place!

I played high school football with a former quarterback of your pick to win tomorrow. Not the sunglass guy.
and if you cut me I bleed Maize and Blue, In my mind there is no other university of higher learning, especially in the great state of Michigan.
