Love him or hate him, excuse me while I roll up my tongue.

( And I want to marry him too.)

The "big game" is this weekend....so who you routin' for? Or are you as interested in this as you are slug trails?

As a long time Giants fan (I still have my shirt from 86-87), part of me can't help but pull for the Patriots to do it (just a little bit).

In the spirit of the game, I've been directed to this little tidbit and am sharing it with you, to bring you up to speed on God Tom Brady. I especially like these excerpts:

"with an impressive 1-for-3, 6-yard passing performance on the year"

and
"Brady capitalized on his friend’s life-threatening internal bleeding by stealing his job"

I will post more on the Super Bowl tomorrow...tonight I'm done (and poker's on).

I have just managed to climb out from under a pile of exams and have been catching up on my reading. Oh my God! I couldn't believe Linds found herself trapped within the craziness of the gang warfare that has been raging in your city. Every night when I turn on the news we're hearing about it. I had hoped like crazy it wasn't anywhere near where you live.

The Superbowl is one sporting event I have never bothered to watch. Enjoy the game.

What is up with the Canucks? I think you need to haul your butt down to their dressing room and give them a tongue lashing.

tc...good to see you. Yes, this latest stuff is right around the corner from our place. Apparently there were shell casings everywhere!! We just had a survey to fill out about crime here and if we think enough is being done (NO).

I kind of feel for the Canucks because their recent meltdown isn't really due to playing bad or lack of effort...they've been battling hard each game. With a couple of our key defensive players missing, it's been tough.

Despite everyone around me jumping off the bandwagon, I'm still wearing my Canucks shirt with pride. :)

Hey, want a compliment? First glance I thought that was you on top of the post. Really.

I went with the underdog Bears last year (even as a fan I knew they didn't have much of a chance against Peyton Manning and Indy).

This year I'll be rooting for the Giants. I don't dislike NE and if they win, so be it but since we had the Giants beat during the season and lost it on a last minute drive by Eli Manning and since we beat the Packers twice, it would make us (at least) think we aren't that far away from competing again.

One weird thing about me when I watch the SB - I get up for drinks, etc during the game - I have to watch the commericals.

well that's about the best compliment I've ever had...damn, now where'd I put my fluffy angel wings again?

I really don't care either way...I know the feeling about having teams that beat you win...it sort of justifies the losses a little more. I felt like that with my Canucks when we lost to the Ducks, only to see them go on to win the cup. Made me feel like we were that much better, having lost to the best.

I have to see the commercials too...what's a Super Bowl without them?

Damn if I could only remember where he played college ball :)
I have seen every superbowl, even as a child I was plopped down in front of the tube.
It's strange on the West coast, do they re run it or will I be watching a superbowl in the middle of the afternoon?
