Thanks Ben. I'm spoiled....the kids and I are heading over to Dad's. He's a cook, so I get off the hook (hey, I'm a poet and didn't even know it).
Haha. Have a nice day off, relaxing :)
I hope dad gave you some great leftovers for today! Happy leftover day!
We're actually having the dinner today because Ty's girlfriend wasn't available yesterday and we just couldn't leave her out.
So the best is yet to come for me. I'm about to roll cabbage rolls (first time ever) because Mom likes them as part of the meal....wish me luck, I'm all thumbs!
Alas, I must await like another 7 weeks!
LMAO! Those are some damn smart turkeys!
They were spared at our Thanksgiving this year. For some reason, the family decided to make it Southern, so instead we had homemade fried chicken and ribs and corn and stuff. One very large turkey somewhere celebrated that night. :P
Hang in there Will!! You'll make it.
Alana...that sounds good. I'm not huge on turkey and my thing is everything "orange"....yams, carrots, pumpkin pie (well it starts off orange). And, like Barbara, I'm big on sprouts. I tend to pretty much fill my plate with everything but turkey, then, if there's room left, I'll throw a little piece on there.
So I'd be up for your family's variation on the Thanksgiving feast....sounds delicious. Lol, yea that one turkey's probably doing a boo-ya dance right at this very minute.
