Well, time to take a break from the depressing.

It's been beautiful here so on my way to the hospital I decided to take time to stop and smell the roses. I guess, in reality, I actually stopped to admire the colors. Gorgeous. It seems that some of the trees are fighting to hang onto their green.

So tell me what you think..are you experiencing any beautiful Fall days?

Look up...look WAY up. Don't know why I took this one (because I could?)
This guy (a raven, not a crow) was really "chowing down" on the skating rink snow!
I'm afraid we have some of the strangest "Fall fashion" I've ever seen...or maybe aliens are invading?

Very pretty pictures, especially the water. Everything in Canada seems to be prettier than here. I get the sense you guys planned your country a little better than we did - just chuckin' stuff up everywhere all higgledypiggledy...
The bright red fallen tree: is that maple? I found a photo of a huge maple-like tree (not sure exactly what it was)... scarlet leaves - wow!

PS: Snow! How unusual!!

Nice pictures. I like the one of the tall building. Victoria is having an unusually gorgeous fall as well. We haven't had the wind or the rain to hasten the falling of the leaves so we have had an unusually long time of colour.

Those are lovely pictures. We've had snow twice and although it's gone in 3 or 4 days, we currently have snow on our side of the street still (the shady side).

There is a rule I believe that is in place: there must always be snow at Hallowe'en.

I had a comment for you a day or so ago, but my laptop's been acting up and requires occasional rebooting at the worst tiimes...

Anyway! Nice photos. Hope your dad is getting better and that you're enjoying some of those fall colours.

I liked the last 3 before your looking up the side of the building best.

Especially the first one with the ducks swimming. I clicked it to make it bigger - awesome detail.
